Grape: a blend of Grenache, Tempranillo, Merlot, Monastrell (Mouvedre) & Malbec
bold, juicy & fresh red - heavy cherry on the nose, with tons of red & black fruit on the palate - crushed violets, savoury herbs, a really nice saline line, chalky minerality & a long finish
vines range in age from 1889-2006, but most are pretty old! all vines are certified organic & biodynamic - grapes are hand-harvested - gentle, long maceration using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel & concrete - aged in steel & large barrel - tiny bit of so2 added at bottling
