Grape: mostly Nerello Mascalese, with a bit of Nerello Cappuccio, Grenache & Grecanico (some of the Nerello comes from 90-year-old vines, while some comes from young vines planted in 2015)

 

a stunning nerello expression - so balanced & fresh - brightness from the young vines mixed with the complexity & character from the older vines - complex, aromatic & layered with crunchy red fruit - cranberries, wild strawberries, blueberries, floral nose, with underlying spice & hefty minerality - tense acidity & serious tannin structure
